N End Business Development Centre to soon emerge as N End Economic Development Centre!

We are well in the middle of a minor renovation here at the Business Development Centre to develop new office and classroom training space to accommodate our sister programs – Citizen’s Bridge, Building Construction Mentorship Program (BCMP) and the Gateway to Literacy program.

Bringing these services into the building along with the Business Development Program office, North End Ambassadors and Selkirk Avenue BIZ will provide a central service location for our community members and others to gain access to IDs and Driver Training, a trades training program, computer literacy training, entrepreneurship information and support, volunteer opportunities with our street patrol and the local business association.

Renovations will continue through early March with a full opening of the centre and the new tenants by April 4, 2016. Construction trades and services provided by two North End businesses – Manitoba Green Retrofit(MGR) and Ampere Electric who have done an excellent job.

we look forward to serving our North End community in our revised workspace.
